KAZINFORM. The first investment forum “ Kazakhstan Investment Forum: The Gateway to Investing in Central Asia” has started its work in New York. The event is organized by a large international economic publisher “Institutional Investor” with the support of the Kazakh Government and the Kazakh Embassy in the USA, the Embassy reports.
This forum is planned to lay a foundation for a regular investment dialogue on Kazakhstan in one of the largest world financial centers. The event aims at analysis and definition of Kazakhstan’s advantages as an investment partner taking into account its political stability and economic growth.
Within the forum the topical issues for Kazakhstan like industry diversification, development of financial sphere, capital markets, further prospects of extractive industry will be given consideration.
A key moment of the first conference is that Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov will address the participants during an online conference from Astana.
Delegates of the forum will have an opportunity to ask the Prime Ministerquestions.
The Kazakh delegation headed by Chairman of the Kazakh National Bank Anvar Saidenov arrived in New York to take part in the forum.
Chairman of RFCA Agency A.Arystanov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Budget Planning G.Pirmatov, President of the Kazakh Development Bank Z.Zhakanov and many other exercutives will participate in discussions. Kazakh business is represented there by such successful Kazakh companies like «Lancaster Group»,«Visor Capital», «Capital Partners», “Bank Turan Alem” and others.
Organizers and participants of the forum note high interest to this event among the US governmental and business structures. Over 200 delegates have registered to attend the forum.
