VISOR Capital obtains FSA license in the UK
‘VISOR Capital’ JSC becomes the first and the only Brokerage House in Kazakhstan to obtain an FSA license. On 6th of November 2007 The Financial Services Authority of the Financial Markets and Organizations, London, UK issued a license to Visor Capital (UK) Limited, the subsidiary of ‘VISOR Capital’ JSC.
This license positions VISOR Capital uniquely to provide its local and international clients with access to investment in Central Asian companies in their major listing locations: on the Kazakh Stock Exchange (KASE), the Regional Financial Centre Almaty platform (RFCA), and on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is an independent body that regulates the financial services industry in the UK, given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FSA Register is a public record of financial services firms, individuals and other bodies which fall or have come under our regulatory jurisdiction as defined in the Financial Services & Markets Act.
