At the helm of Visor’s DCM team is Jose Luiz Gaviao, who recently worked at ABN AMRO Bank as director for all Debt Capital Markets activities in Brazil. Benefiting from Jose’s steady hand, Visor has recently undertaken large new mandates. In late 2006, for example, Visor underwrote an $800M private placement bond for a Kazakhstani client. As Kazakhstani issuers begin to denominate their foreign liabilities in several different currencies including local tenge and Russian rubles, Visor is poised to provide reliable, sophisticated guidance in an increasingly nuanced debt securities landscape.
