Visor Capital’s Sales and Trading desk is at the core of our brokerage business and engages in a broad range of activities for investors. Combining local knowledge and detailed research we strive to give our clients timely investment advice on companies with significant exposure to Kazakhstan, wherever they are listed. We make firm prices for both A and B level stocks on the local KASE exchange. In addition to local trading, we are active players in international Kazakh names. Our Sales and Trading team is comprised of seasoned local and Western specialists who have an in-depth knowledge of capital markets activity with particular expertise in emerging markets and the CIS countries. We have a fully integrated research database in order to meet the investment needs of all of our clients.

Visor Capital is a trading member of the local KASE Stock Exchange, regulated by the FSA in the United Kingdom and a member of the London Stock Exchange. In addition, we provide execution capabilities in other securities such as government and corporate bonds, T-bills and repos.

Since the start of trading in August 2006, Visor Capital has become a market leader and has quickly become the broker of choice for many local and international asset managers. In 2008 with much reduced volumes from both international and local investors, the local pension funds, who trade direct, have dominated the flow.
