Blair joined Visor Capital in April 2008 from Citi where he was a Director of European equities. With 17 years of experience in investment banking, initially in Equity Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch he then moved to European Equity Sales at Citi, covering some of the largest institutional investors in the UK and overseas. Most recently he worked within Prime Brokerage, heading a group advising traditional institutional investors on launching alternative investment products. Blair has worked in London, New York and Johannesburg, holds an engineering degree from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from INSEAD.

Robin has joined Visor Capital in October 2007, and brings with him 20 years of experience in emerging equity markets. He was previously responsible for the sales and sales trading of Asian and Australasian research product at BNP Paribas and additionally has gained extensive experience with GK Goh and ANZ Bank. Robin has excellent knowledge of the Asian and Australasian markets and has built solid client relationships with Institutions in the UK and Europe with the generation of profitable investment initiatives for his clients. He has comprehensive knowledge of Equities ,GDR’s, ADR’s, Convertibles, Country Funds and CFD’s.

Flemming joined Visor Capital in January 2008 from a position as senior trader at LD Pension, a USD 15 bln pension fund in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has 10 years investment banking experience in trading/execution and market making in Nordic/European equity products from senior positions with Jyske Bank and Gudme Raaschou Bank in Copenhagen, as well as Erik Penser Securities and Julius Baer in Stockholm. Flemming has studied finance and economics in Denmark and USA and is currently pursuing an MBA from AVT Institute of Executive Education.

Dauren joined Visor Capital in June 2006 and is responsible for local trading. Before joining Visor he was the chief trader at Eximbank Kazakhstan, where he gained valuable experience trading government and corporate securities, and in interbank deposits and currency markets. In addition, he worked at the company “Fondovy Tsentr” where he managed registers of corporate securities. Dauren graduated from Almaty State University with a degree in finance and economics, and is certified with the first and second category rights to conclude and register trades on local financial markets.

Askar joined Visor Capital in February 2007 and is responsible for local and international trading operations. Prior to joining Visor, he worked as an equity and debt trader at TuranAlem Securities. Askar has additional experience in currency trading on Forex and as an independent agent for PFG Inc. This year Askar will complete his degree in Finance from the Kazakh National University in Almaty.

Sergey joined Visor Capital in July 2006 and is responsible for local and international trading operations, as well as individual client sales. Before joining Visor, he worked as a marketing specialist for client services at Valut Tranzit Bank. In 2007 Sergey completed his degree in Finance from the University of International Business in Almaty.

Matthieu Laloux

Matthieu joined Visor Capital in January 2008, bringing over 12 years experience in middle and back office. He previously worked as a controller for Morgan Stanley’s securities lending business, and later became Head of Finance for the UK operation of Zions Bank. He is a qualified accountant and holds a Master from the Nantes Graduate School of Management.
